Joining our team means working as part of a professional touring crew—living on the road, traveling by bus, checking in and out of hotels, and setting up shows in arenas, stadiums, and venues across the country and the world.

Summary
The Crew Chief is the leader of the touring crew, overseeing daily operations and serving as the primary liaison between the road team and production management. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage diverse personalities under pressure while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Lead and manage road staff including carpenters, riggers, and technicians
• Serve as primary point of contact for production managers and stakeholders
• Provide training, guidance, and conflict resolution to crew
• Monitor project progress, solve problems, and keep shows on schedule and budget
• Oversee rigging and aerial automation operations for compliance and safety
• Manage truck packs and logistics for efficient transport
• Coordinate with rigging/automation teams on safe and seamless setups
• Carry out any other leadership duties as assigned

• Proven leadership in live entertainment touring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of stage rigging and automation systems
• make fast, informed decisions under pressure
• Proficiency with tools such as Office and CAD preferred

Physical and Social Requirements

• Must possess leadership skills, strong communication skills and the ability to work well with the productions
• Our team members must be adaptable, collaborative, and innovative
• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism and safety standards at all times

        Role requires variable hours that may include nights, weekends, and extended travel based on show and tour schedules.

OSHA 10 or 30

First Aid/CPR preferred

MEWP (scissor/boom lift) certification preferred
