Job description

We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands the staffing industry, knows how to build strong recruiting teams, and can deliver qualified employees to clients quickly and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage recruiters, staffing coordinators, and other staffing personnel.
  • Oversee the full recruiting and placement process from job order through employee placement.
  • Develop recruiting strategies for construction, industrial, precast, manufacturing, transportation, and skilled-trade positions.
  • Monitor open job orders and ensure positions are filled quickly with qualified candidates.
  • Establish recruiting goals, KPIs, and accountability standards for the staffing team.
  • Train, coach, and develop recruiters to improve performance.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, payroll, and management to meet client workforce needs.
  • Improve recruiting processes, systems, documentation, and candidate follow-up.
  • Monitor employee retention, attendance, turnover, and placement quality.
  • Assist with resolving employee and client staffing issues.
  • Ensure recruiting, onboarding, screening, and employment practices follow company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Help grow staffing operations into new markets and client accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • Staffing or recruiting industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience managing recruiters or a staffing team.
  • Strong understanding of high-volume recruiting and workforce management.
  • Experience recruiting for industrial, construction, manufacturing, skilled trades, precast, or similar industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and accountability skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple urgent job orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable working with recruiting systems, job boards, spreadsheets, and performance metrics.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is REQUIRED.

Ideal Candidate

The right person is not simply an administrator. We want a staffing leader who can recruit, manage people, solve problems, build systems, and produce results.

You should be comfortable jumping into difficult job orders, coaching recruiters, speaking with clients and candidates, reviewing recruiting numbers, and holding the team accountable for performance.
