What does a staffing manager do?

A staffing manager is part of the human resources (HR) department. As a staffing manager, your main duty is to oversee all aspects of the staffing of an office or company, which includes recruitment of new employees, workforce training and retention, and, occasionally, the firing of employees. Qualifications for this job include a bachelor’s degree in HR or business administration, as well as several years of experience in an HR department as a recruiter or staffing professional.
