Job description

Staff Program Manager

Location: Remote (U.S.)
Travel: Up to 20%
Department: Business Operations
Reports to: Senior Director, Product Management

Why Join Omnicell?

At Omnicell, we’re transforming the way care is delivered by connecting technology, data, and people to improve patient outcomes across the medication management lifecycle. As a Staff Program Manager, you will operate at the intersection of product innovation, commercial strategy, and customer value realization, leading some of Omnicell’s most complex and business‑critical initiatives.

This is a high‑impact role for a seasoned program leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong technical and business acumen, and can influence executive stakeholders to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Purpose: Lead end‑to‑end execution of complex, multi‑disciplinary programs that deliver differentiated product value, accelerate commercialization, and drive customer and financial outcomes.

As a Staff Program Manager, you will:

  • Own end‑to‑end program execution from concept through delivery, commercialization, and post‑sale value realization—ensuring alignment across product, engineering, manufacturing/supply chain, commercial, and customer teams.
  • Orchestrate integrated hardware and software product delivery, partnering closely with engineering, product management, and operations to manage dependencies, risks, and milestones.
  • Align pricing, packaging, and go‑to‑market strategies with product value propositions and broader business objectives, ensuring readiness for launch and scale.
  • Enable early customer adoption and demand generation by collaborating with sales, marketing, and customer success to support pilots, proofs of concept, and launch readiness.
  • Drive measurable business outcomes by owning program KPIs, including adoption, bookings, revenue, margin, and ROI against defined targets.
  • Provide executive‑level communication to VPs and C‑suite leaders, translating complex technical and operational topics into clear insights, decisions, and trade‑offs.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, product operations, or related roles
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs at scale
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Systems or related technical field

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, go‑to‑market strategy, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with operational processes, including procurement and transitioning proofs of concept into scalable offerings.
  • Strong technical understanding of integrated hardware and software systems.
  • Experience in the MedTech or regulated healthcare technology domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex, ill‑defined problems.

How You’ll Elevate at Omnicell

At Omnicell, success isn’t just about what you deliver—it’s about how you deliver it. As a Senior Cross‑Functional Program Manager, you will embody our Elevate Behaviors by:

  • Collaborate: Build trusted partnerships across product, engineering, commercial, and customer teams to align priorities and deliver outcomes at scale.
  • Inspire: Influence and align executive stakeholders through clear, data‑driven storytelling and confident decision support.
  • Develop: Continuously deepen your technical and business expertise while sharing best practices that raise the bar for program execution across the organization.
  • Execute: Take ownership of results, proactively manage risk, and deliver complex programs on time and against business targets.
  • Impact: Drive innovation and measurable customer and financial value by connecting strategy to disciplined execution.

Leadership Imperatives

This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities. However, you are expected to demonstrate leadership through influence by modeling a growth mindset, acting as an impact maker, and serving as a change champion across cross‑functional teams.
