The position requires expertise in system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence frameworks to deliver scalable, high-availability solutions. Effective stakeholder engagement, risk management, and communication are essential to monitor progress, resolve issues, and achieve program goals. The role also promotes continuous improvement through innovation and automation within assigned domains.
About the team:
The In-Club Systems & Infrastructure team at Sam’s Tech drives the delivery of critical in-club technologies, including computer vision, new club openings, and operational systems impacting millions of members. As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will collaborate with business, engineering, product, and operations teams to align technical execution with strategic objectives. The team emphasizes clarity at scale, ensuring platforms are delivered with quality, speed, and resilience. This role requires expertise in program and risk management, stakeholder engagement, technical design, and leading complex initiatives to successful completion.
What you'll do:
  • Define program goals, deliverables, schedules, and critical paths to manage multiple medium to high-complexity programs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Secure commitment from cross-functional teams and manage dependencies to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Translate product requirements into technical designs, ensuring scalability, high availability, and performance across systems and platforms.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor program progress against milestones and quality metrics.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement by proposing frameworks and automation tools to enhance program delivery.
