Job description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the housekeeping team, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, managing schedules, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and time management skills are essential.
Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly salary
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff, including room attendants and housekeepers
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and brand standards are met.
  • Ensure guest rooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready for occupancy in a timely manner.
  • Address guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to ensure room readiness and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and health regulations.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Complete daily reports and maintain accurate housekeeping records.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist with operational needs as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
