Purpose

We areΒ seekingΒ a talented and experiencedΒ StaffΒ Business Intelligence AnalystΒ (Finance)Β to join our team. In this role, you willΒ be responsible forΒ spearheading the development and implementationΒ of systems and analytics that allow us toΒ measureΒ our financial metricsΒ moreΒ effectively.Β Success in this role will beΒ measuredΒ byΒ your ability toΒ scope, build, andΒ improveΒ the company's Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) andΒ otherΒ financeΒ processes andΒ analytics.Β You will analyze business and technical problems, create technical frameworks, and influence business processes toΒ furtherΒ increaseΒ theΒ robustness and analytical potentialΒ of cost data.Β In addition, as part of the Data Team, you will be involved withΒ reporting, analyzing, and ensuringΒ accurateΒ data is available to theΒ company's decision-makers.Β Β 

You will work cross-functionally withΒ Software Development, Enterprise Applications,Β Finance,Β Business Development, Program Management,Β Production,Β Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering, and Quality professionals, provide strategic guidance on process improvement initiatives that support the achievement of strategic objectives defined in the company's Annual Operating Plans, promote speed of innovations and operational excellence, and develop strong business strategies.Β This role will report to theΒ Director of Data.Β

  • Scope,Β deliver, andΒ maintainΒ robust, scalable, and secureΒ analysesΒ to enhanceΒ reportingΒ onΒ financialΒ metrics, owning end-to-end development and adoption.Β 
  • CollaborateΒ cross-functionallyΒ toΒ deliverΒ the sustainableΒ andΒ scalableΒ solutionΒ architectures.Β 
  • ReviewΒ business processes and recommend thoughtful changes that allow for more robust data collectionΒ and analyticsΒ leading toΒ deeper company-wide understanding ofΒ manufacturing costs.Β 
  • Participate in regular cross-functional internal reviewsΒ with team leaders to ensure that program deliverables and milestones are well understood and schedules support customer requirements.Β 
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices inΒ data analytics andΒ COGS.Β 
  • Quickly develop a holistic understanding of the entire DAPS business enterprise and its current workflows and systems, primarily where sales, demand planning, operations planning, and program management intersects with manufacturing, production, and quality.Β 
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls.Β 
  • Bachelor's degree in aΒ relatedΒ fieldΒ such asΒ Finance,Β Accounting, Data Science,Β orΒ Economics.Β 
  • 6+ years of experienceΒ supporting data analytics,Β cost modeling,Β business transformation,Β and finance functions.Β 
  • Deep understanding of cost accounting and financial structures, including Chart of Accounts (COA), General Ledger (GL), cost elements, and their linkage to manufacturing COGS, inventory,Β and financial reporting.Β Β 
  • Experience with overhead allocation methods, costing systems (i.e.Β standard costing, activity-based costing)Β and burden rate calculations.Β 
  • Experience with aggregating product cost through BOMs and routing structures.Β 
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), routing, work orders, and production processes.Β 
  • DemonstratedΒ experience of application developmentΒ using PythonΒ and SQL,Β or other similar programming languages.Β 
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms.Β 
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, a motivated self-starter who can scope projects, meet deadlines, and work well leading cross-functional teams.Β 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a start-up, consulting,Β finance,Β or similar high-growth, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Β 
  • Experience interfacing withΒ manufacturingΒ and production stakeholdersΒ to understand system designs and the associated constraints.Β 
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.Β 
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Fabric, etc.).Β 
  • Experience working across multiple systems (i.e.Β ERP, MES, PLM, data platforms) and integrating data for analysis.Β
