LOGISTICS TEAM LEAD (SRS)

The Logistics Team Lead (SRS) will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and team productivity. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
This position is located in San Jose, CA
Key Activities
  • Leading and supervising the logistics team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitoring stock levels, delivery schedules, and transportation costs.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and develop efficiency and process improvements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members
  • Aptitude for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Capability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve efficiency.
  • Proficiency in managing stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and systems like SAP, Oracle, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Able to work overnight 3rd shift if needed.
  • Forklift certified or the ability to get certified in house
  • Picking materials, executing warehouse transactions

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
  • Experience in rail/rolling stock maintenance is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Forklift certification (if applicable).

Pay: $30-36/hr
