Job description

THE ROLE
We are looking for a Fulltime Merchandise Supervisor to join our team. As a Merchandise Supervisor, you will assist in all merchandise operations and fulfill company goals and objectives with an emphasis on customer service. As the largest construction project in Western New York history, this stadium will have state-of-the-art technology that will enhance the fan experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure proper inventory levels are maintained throughout Highmark Stadium to support operational needs.
  • Supervise assigned staff by providing leadership, conducting performance evaluations, addressing disciplinary matters, and coaching employees to reach their full potential.
  • Enforce and monitor strict cash-handling procedures to ensure accuracy, accountability, and compliance at all times.
  • Set, communicate, and track employee performance goals; provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing programs and initiatives designed to enhance the overall customer experience at Highmark Stadium.
  • Coordinate visual merchandising and product displays, ensuring concession stands are set up to maximize customer engagement and sales.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and customer service while proactively identifying and addressing guest needs and concerns.
  • Perform additional duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned to support stadium operations and business objectives.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
  • Available to work non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and work well as a team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, friendly personality, and excellent guest services skills are required
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English
  • Ability to carry items weighing up to 50lbs

Education, preferred qualifications, and/or experience
  • 3 years of merchandise experience, preferred

COMPENSATION
Competitive salary of $22/hr, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
