Job description

Salary: Competitive Pay Based on Experience

The Stadium Corporation is the operating entity of Finley Stadium Davenport Field, the First Horizon Pavilion, and surrounding property. Home to Chattanooga Mocs Football, the Chattanooga Football Club, and the Chattanooga Market, the campus hosts 500,000+ visitors and over 200 events annually. Opened in 1997 as a public-private partnership, Finley Stadium has also hosted the FCS National Championship, US Soccer National Teams, TSSAA Football Championships, concerts, and numerous local and regional events. Role

Reporting to the Facility Manager and Assistant Manager, theFacilities Crew supports all aspects of facility maintenance and event production.

This is a part time seasonal position, with the potential to transition into a full time with benefits position.

Responsibilities


  • Be able to perform physically demanding work for the duration of the work day.

  • Operate pressure washers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, backpack blowers, line trimmers, utility vehicles, small power and hand tools.

  • Perform janitorial tasks and clean up

  • Participate in the operation, maintenance and repair of diverse facility equipment which may include commercial kitchen equipment, door/lock repair, minor painting, phone cabling, carpentry and general duties as assigned that utilize basic mechanical aptitude.

  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials.

  • Perform event related duties, set-ups and coverage for functions as assigned.
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.

  • Ability to learn facility maintenance and mechanical skills.

  • Ability to lift and carry packages or materials up to 75 pounds.

  • Exceptional people skills, and practices the core value of Put People First.

  • Experience in operating light machinery and working at heights.

  • Forklift certification a plus.

  • A willingness to be hands-on, learn building skills, and make decisions when Facilities lead on-duty.

  • Ability to work independently or within a team. Be self-motivated and be able to stay on task

  • Personable, Detail-oriented, Self-starter, Problem-solver, Team player, and ability to present information to internal and external clients.

  • Must be available to work nights, weekends.
