Seeking Part Time Musician at St. Peter Catholic Church in Dayton OH
We are looking for three part-time musicians to provide vibrant and prayerful music that enhances our weekend liturgies at St. Peter church. Each part-time employee will be assigned one Mass per weekend for which to plan and prepare music and musicians, according to the ensembles currently in place at St. Peter: traditional choir and contemporary worship group. Musicians should be prepared to develop and grow their ensemble through music and prayer that is contagious, welcoming, and invites others to join the music ministry. He/she is expected to communicate with collaborating musicians, maintain a music library, work with cantors, and ensure song numbers and music lists for the projector are accurately displayed for Mass. Ensemble leaders are additionally expected to hold weekly rehearsals for their ministry.
