Job Details & Requirements

Job Description: Stability HealthCare is looking for a Hospice RN contract position in St Johnsbury, Vermont. They work in hospice facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or patients' homes to provide comfort, pain management, and emotional support to both the patient and their family members. Hospice registered nurses assess patients' conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. They also provide education and counseling to patients and their families about end-of-life care, grief and loss, and other related topics.

  • A hospice registered nurse must be licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in their state of practice. They must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and meet other state-specific requirements. 2 years of experience is required
