Job description

Northwest Connections is seeking Mobile Mental Health Crisis Workers to provide in-person crisis intervention and risk assessment for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in St Croix County, Wisconsin. This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible scheduling, ideal for clinicians seeking supplemental income. Applicants must reside within 30-45 minutes to most cities in St. Croix County, WI due to on-call response time requirements. This role operates under Wisconsin DHS 34 and Chapter 51 statutes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond on-call to mobile mental health crisis situations
  • Conduct mental health and suicide risk assessments
  • Provide crisis intervention and support least-restrictive response planning
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and community partners
  • Complete required clinical documentation

Schedule & Location
  • Part-time, on-call
  • Available shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Weekends/holidays; 7 Days a Week, 4:00 PM - Midnight, Midnight - 8 AM
  • Home-based/on-call with responses throughout St. Croix County, including Baldwin, Hudson, and New Richmond, WI

Pay & Compensation
  • $40.00 per 8-hour on-call shift (paid whether dispatched or not)
  • $27.50/hour when responding (assessment, travel, documentation)
  • $0.70/mile mileage reimbursement
  • $18.00/hour training pay
