Job description

GI Hospitalist: Week On/Week Off Schedule

Summary
Join a collaborative Gastroenterology team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role offers a week on / week off rotation, providing a predictable schedule and strong work-life balance while supporting inpatient GI services. During your service week, you will partner with experienced colleagues to manage urgent and emergent procedures in a collegial, team-focused environment.

Schedule

  • Week On / Week Off Rotation: One full week on followed by one week off. Or two weeks on/two weeks off, if preferred. 
  • Night Call: Off-premise call during your on-week. You may be called in for urgent or emergent procedures scheduled in the operating room that cannot wait until the next day.
  • Weekend Coverage:
    • Saturday: Urgent inpatient procedures requiring anesthesia scheduled 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Endoscopy Unit.
    • Sunday: Emergent procedures performed in the operating room as needed.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary range: expected minimum $752,000, could be as high as $1,000,000 plus per year, based on production incentive levels achieved
    • Tiered production incentive model 
    • 8,435 wRVU (or greater) annually achieves highest tier 
    • Premium conversion factor of $89.25 at highest tier
  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate
