Orla is advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part of our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We also operate the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources.


Orla alsooperates the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario, a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history and the potential to expand resources and mine life for years to come.

As Orla continues to grow, we are seeking aSenior Mine Maintenance Plannerto join our team and play a key role in supporting the success of our operations.In this role,you willestablish,optimize, and manage best-practice planning and scheduling processes that maximize the availability, reliability, and performance of the mobile equipment at the South Carlin Complex. This role is accountable for translating maintenance strategies into actionable work plans, ensuring that labor, parts, tooling, and resources are organized efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement planning, scheduling, and work management processes for a greenfield operation
  • Establish standards for work order flow, backlog management, work prioritization, and planning quality
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure maintenance schedules align with production and operational priorities
  • Build andmaintainasset hierarchies, preventive maintenance (PM) strategies, job plans, task lists, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the CMMS/EAM system
  • Ensure work order quality andmaintainmaster data integrity to supportaccuratereporting and equipment history tracking
  • Support reliability improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis (RCA), condition monitoring interpretation, and telematics/oil analysis review
  • Identifyopportunities to improve PM strategies and job plans based on data trends, failure modes, and equipment performance
  • Champion preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to improve fleet reliability and equipment availability
  • Partner closely with Materials Management and Procurement teams to support maintenance kitting and ensure parts availability
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and OEM partners to align maintenance priorities andoptimizefleet performance
  • Evaluate contractor and vendor performance to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and cost expectations
  • Model and reinforce a strong safety culture aligned with MSHA regulations and Orla Mining standards
  • Ensure all work plans, job procedures, and maintenance activities incorporate proper hazard identification and risk mitigation measures


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringor a related field preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in mobile maintenance within mining or heavy industrial operations
  • At least two years of senior-level maintenance planning experience, including developing work management processes, leading CMMS/EAM implementation, and supporting reliability and lifecycle cost initiatives for mobile mining equipment
  • Minimum of fiveyears of hands-on heavy equipment maintenance experience
  • Strong background in reliability tools, maintenance strategy development, planning and scheduling, and lifecycle cost management
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities with a focus on equipment reliability
  • Highproficiencyin planning, scheduling, and coordinating complex maintenance activities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to interpret maintenance data, telematics, condition-monitoring results, and failure analysis outputs
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level or higher)
  • Mustbe authorized towork in the United States for any employer
  • Mustpossessa valid driver's license
