JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
 
Education
 
 
Licensed by Arkansas State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certification by national certifying body with prescriptive privileges. Gerontological Nurse Practitioner preferred.
 
 
Experience
 
 
Three (3) years in geriatric setting desired.
 
 
Physical
 
 
This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
 
 
Normal office environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Required to stand, walk, sit and use fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. May be exposed to airborne and infectious materials.
 
 
JOB SUMMARY
 
 
Provide healthcare for patients at St. Bernards Senior Health Clinic, Total Life Healthcare Clinic and Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital. Performs professional duties in collaboration with Geriatrician as follows: Assessment of health status of clinic patients; Formulates an appropriate differential diagnosis; Develops and carries out a plan of care in collaboration with enter disciplinary team.
