Job description

Job Title: ETL Developer – SSIS, SSRS, and Informatica

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract opportunity

Final interview will be face to face

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS and Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Build and optimize data integration processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud storage, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards to support business reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Maintain documentation for data mappings, workflows, and job schedules.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Support production data pipelines, monitoring job execution and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in data migration and modernization projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development using SSIS and Informatica.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database design.
  • Experience developing reports and visualizations using SSRS.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (ETL, star schema, dimensions, fact tables).
  • Proficiency in performance tuning, error handling, and debugging ETL packages.
