Job description


SSRS / Power BI Developer (Contract, Onsite Houston)
Indigo Beam is hiring an SSRS and Power BI developer for a client engagement in Houston, TX. This is an onsite role working directly with the client team, with an expected duration of three to six months starting between mid-September and early October.
What you'll do
  • Build, modify, and troubleshoot SSRS reports against client data sources
  • Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, datasets, and data models
  • Work directly with client business users to gather reporting requirements and turn them into working deliverables
  • Optimize existing reports and queries for performance and accuracy

Requirements
What we're looking for
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining SSRS reports
  • Strong Power BI skills including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Solid SQL Server and T-SQL background
  • Comfortable working onsite and communicating with business stakeholders without heavy hand-holding
  • Located in the Houston area or able to be onsite in Houston for the duration of the engagement
