Job description

Job Summary:
Mindlance is seeking a hands-on Software Developer with strong experience in SQL Server and SSIS to support and enhance business-critical data pipelines. The role involves developing and maintaining SQL batch jobs, optimizing performance, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure operational reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, enhance, and support SSISbased SQL batch jobs
• Build and maintain ETL and data movement pipelines
• Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and reliability
• Support batch execution, monitoring, and issue resolution
• Perform root cause analysis for data or job failures
• Document SSIS packages, batch logic, and data flows
• Collaborate with QA, production support, and fulltime engineering staff
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong handson experience with SSIS package development and support
• Strong SQL Server expertise: Complex queries, Stored procedures, Performance tuning
• Experience building and supporting SQLbased batch jobs
• Working knowledge of .NET / C# used in backend or batch workflows
• Experience supporting scheduled/automated jobs in production environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills for batch failures and data issues
Preferred:
• Experience with job schedulers (SQL Agent, ControlM, Autosys)
• Experience working with legacy batch jobs
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Financial services or regulated environment experience
