Job description

Job Title: Materials Development
Location: Beaverton, OR (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking a materials development professional to support color development work for footwear materials within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Our team is partnering closely with color development and materials development specialists to help deliver accurate, visually consistent material color outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support color development for footwear materials, including textiles, leathers, polymers, or printing.
  • Interpret color reading reports and review color performance in a light box.
  • Measure color using a spectrophotometer and apply findings to development work.
  • Collaborate with FW Color Development and FW Materials Development teams on ongoing projects.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical color development for footwear materials.
  • Completed a Farnsworth-Munsell Color Acuity test with a superior score of color vision.
  • Ability to interpret color reading reports, measure color with a spectrophotometer, and review color in a light box.
  • Experience using Smartsheet and Excel.
