Job description

Overview
Are you looking for a new or supplemental part-time medical career outside of a clinical setting? Vermont Disability Determination Services (VT DDS) has a great opportunity for physicians (M.D. or D.O.) who want to expand and extend their medical expertise by performing administrative medical reviews of disability applications in a collaborative team environment. Must be adept at navigating through large volumes of medical records and adapting to ever-changing software applications used in the DDS case processing system. Program training and support are provided, and once fully trained, telework is available. For additional information, please contact Kirsten Moore, DDS Professional Relations Officer, by email: Kirsten.Moore@ssa.gov.
About our Division: Disability Determination Services provides the medical eligibility for applicants filing for disability benefits under the Social Security Disability Program, the Supplemental Security Income Program, and Medicaid disability.
