  • Discretionary time off - take the time you need, when you need it
  • Employer-paid life insurance, with the option to add extra coverage for peace of mind

  • A fitness credit to back your health and wellness goals
  • Pre-tax plans for dependent care, transportation, and flexible spending

Position Summary
SRS Acquiom (SRSA) is looking for a Payments Analyst to join our high-performing Operations team and help power the distribution engine behind complex M&A deals. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, data-heavy environment, where ambiguity is the norm and thinking critically is non-negotiable. You'll be at the center of managing payment workflows-tracking everything from shareholder documentation and compliance. The work blends heads-down processing with heads-up decision-making, and you'll regularly navigate a space where "it depends" is a frequent starting point.
Core responsibilities of this role include the processing of all mail related to security holder documentation, following up with holders regarding deficient items, data entry of personally identifiable information and the population and reconciliation of shareholder documents within a data room. In this role the analyst will rotate into the daily processing of payments to include creating payment files for submission to the bank partners and researching any returned or delayed payments. Strong project management, detail oriented, discretion and excellent communications skills will be essential in this role, as interaction with sophisticated investors and handling of PII will be on-going. This person should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to handle multiple transactions at one time and should have the ability to work both as a teammate within the operations group and with a high level of autonomy on individual projects.
Location: This is a hybrid position based in our Denver, CO office.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $60k and $70k, depending on experience level.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Process Letters of Transmittal and other legal documentation submitted via mail and e-mail, complete data entry within the required SLA, and maintain the integrity of the system of record
  • Interact with security holders via phone and email regarding deficiencies following the review of account packets
  • Create payment files to meet the daily payment deadline
  • Process returned payments and stop check requests
  • Take ownership of individual transactions and act as the go-to for questions from security holders and co-workers alike
  • Track document retention requirements and implement procedures for proper disposal to remain in compliance with FINRA standards
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience, exceed SLAs, and improve efficiency
  • Maintain and support a flexible schedule based on the speed of the deal and the needs of the client, this may include evening or weekend hours where needed

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in operations, financial services, or other documentation-heavy roles
  • Comfort working with large volumes of data and handling sensitive information
  • High attention to detail (yes, we said it again - it really does matter here)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across the organization
  • Strong written communication skills, especially for stakeholder correspondence and internal handoffs
  • Self-motivation: you'll be busy, and you'll need to manage your time accordingly
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Adobe, and document workflows a plus

Desired Characteristics
  • Positive attitude
  • Collaborative
  • Operates with highest integrity and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness

Physical Requirements/Special Demands
  • Must be available to work standard business hours, and an occasional night/weekend, should they come up.
