ProSidian Seeks a Administrative Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100) as an Engagement Team Member generally located across the Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina supporting Environmental Management Sector requirements to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.. 

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Administrative Clerk (CL100) at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina.  Administrative Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100) work collaboratively as part of the ProSidian Engagement Team as Non-Exempt personnel.  Dedicated Planned Labor Hours (DPLH) of 2080 Straight Time (ST) Estimated Annual Quantity (Hrs. Per Yr.) | 200 Overtime Time (OT) Estimated Annual Quantity (Hrs. Per Yr.). 

This as a Labor Hour Subcontract or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.  The role(s) are located at Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina with identified Work Site Address (121 Richland Ave E, Aiken, SC 29801, USA) providing Administrative/Business functions working to provide BOA Support Services for multiple department requirement Service Areas (SA) for Savannah River Remediation LLC (The SRMC/LW Contractor) at the U.S. Department of Energy | Savannah River Site (DOE-SRS) in Aiken, SC to support the evolving needs of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Administrative Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100)

  • General office duties as required by Liquid Waste supervision
  • Organize and proofread documents and e-mails
  • Distribute reports
  • Operate computer to extract data
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point and File maker-pro. software applications
  • Establish and maintain filing systems
  • Communicate problems to supervision
  • Relay written and verbal communications promptly and accurately
  • Follow office, safety and security procedures
  • Operate copiers, faxes, scanners and other office equipment required to perform assignments.
  • Perform clerical functions such as take dictation, transcribe, compile/arrange and type a variety of interoffice memoranda, letters, reports and other business correspondence.
  • Receive, document, post and record statistical and confidential information.
  • Answer telephone, take messages, relay or record information received and distribute

Administrative Clerk - Administrative/Business (CL100) Candidates shall work to support requirements for RFP297252R RFP297261R Administrative Clerk (Administrative/Business Services) and provide BOA Support Services for multiple department requirement Service Areas (SA) for Savannah River Remediation LLC (The SRMC/LW Contractor) at the U.S. Department of Energy | Savannah River Site (DOE-SRS) in Aiken, SC to support the evolving needs of the organization.

Skills Required

Primarily focused on Administrative Clerk initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities, Administrative/Business Functional Area Activities. 

  • Minimum typing skills - forty-five (45) words per minute with 90% accuracy
  • Proofreading and distributing documents, maintaining 89% accuracy
  • Operate a computer to research, input, update, or change data, and manipulate software to achieve desired results
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and FileMaker Pro. software applications
  • Experience with SRS software (SmartPlant, Puridiom, Deltek, EDWS Documentum)

Competencies Required

  • U.S.  Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

  • Work Hours: A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes a 4/l0's (10 hours/day; four days per week, Monday through Thursday) shift schedule. Work week excludes SRS holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
  • Other Details:  Normal work location for this position will be an office building or field office trailer.
  • Area Security Access:   No clearance required.
