As Sr. Vice President of Operations, you will be accountable for operational delivery, financial performance, and growth across MetroStar's Defense portfolio. You will lead a growing organization of sector VPs, program leaders, and technical teams ensuring we deliver exceptional IT services while building scalable operations that support our long-term strategy.

What you'll do:
  • Own operational delivery and P&L performance across the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Lead and develop sector VP's, program and project managers, and technical leaders responsible for delivering best-in-class IT services.
  • Establish and execute operational strategies aligned with MetroStar's strategic goals and growth objectives.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing leaders while fostering accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with program leaders and customers to improve service delivery, strengthen performance, and create client delight.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • 15+ years of federal IT services leadership experience, including significant experience in an Operations Director, Vice President, or senior program leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success leading a portfolio of at least $50M in annual revenue and 200+ employees.
  • Experience delivering large-scale IT programs across multiple federal agencies or components; experience supporting the Intelligence Community is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ownership of operational delivery, portfolio financial performance, and P&L.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing program managers, and project managers.
  • Strong understanding of business development, capture, and proposal development.
  • Executive-level communication skills and experience engaging senior government stakeholders.
  • A clear leadership philosophy and an entrepreneurial drive to build and grow a business.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance, with ability obtain an SCI

Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
