Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior UAT & Business Analyst with strong experience across User Acceptance Testing, Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, test automation, requirements management, data validation, and defect management.

The candidate will serve as a senior-level individual contributor supporting enterprise applications and will work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, system owners, developers, vendors, project managers, and testing teams.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating in a hybrid Business Analyst + UAT/QA Lead capacity and should possess both strategic test-planning capabilities and hands-on testing experience.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in QA, UAT, Business Analysis, or enterprise application testing.

  • 3+ years of experience with test automation and automation strategy development.

  • 3+ years developing and executing:

    • Test strategies

    • Test plans

    • Test cases

    • Test scenarios

    • Test scripts

  • Experience performing functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, negative, and UAT testing.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as:

    • Selenium

    • Playwright

    • Cypress

    • TestComplete

    • Power Automate

    • UFT

    • Similar automation technologies

  • 3+ years of experience with QA/test management platforms such as:

    • Jira

    • Azure DevOps

    • Azure Test Plans

    • Smartsheet

  • Strong experience analyzing business and functional requirements and converting them into testable scenarios.

  • Experience developing use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Experience with data quality validation, reconciliation, and enterprise data testing.

  • Experience testing enterprise applications, interfaces, integrations, and reporting solutions.

  • Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.

  • Strong defect management and root-cause analysis experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automated business processes and data systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing activities across enterprise applications and projects.

  • Perform both Business Analyst and UAT/QA responsibilities depending on project needs.

  • Participate in JAR and JAD sessions for change requests and maintenance initiatives.

  • Gather, analyze, document, refine, and validate business and functional requirements.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, Business System Owners, vendors, developers, and project managers.

  • Develop comprehensive UAT strategies, test plans, scenarios, test cases, and execution approaches.

  • Review business requirements, system designs, interfaces, workflows, and specifications to ensure appropriate test coverage.

  • Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts.

  • Perform:

    • Functional testing

    • Regression testing

    • Integration testing

    • End-to-end testing

    • Data validation

    • UAT

  • Lead UAT execution, issue tracking, evidence documentation, business validation, and release-readiness activities.

  • Coordinate testing activities with vendors responsible for Unit Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).

  • Manage testing timelines, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and implementation-readiness activities.

  • Facilitate requirements walkthroughs, testing reviews, and knowledge-transfer sessions.

  • Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, triage, prioritization, escalation, retesting, and closure.

  • Track and report testing metrics, defect trends, execution progress, test coverage, and quality risks.

  • Review and optimize existing regression test suites.

  • Identify opportunities to transition manual test cases into automated regression tests.

  • Develop and implement test automation strategies and frameworks.

  • Recommend appropriate automation tools and testing approaches.

  • Support production validation, issue analysis, continuous improvement, and QA/UAT best practices.
