RUN Studios is seeking a Production Manager who will help guide our Production team to create visually compelling experiences that drive engaging narratives. The Production Manager will work closely with our client, acting as the point of contact on project requests. They will work with to ensure the right production and creative solutions are provided to ensure customer satisfaction, communication, and deliverables at each milestone throughout the production process.
This role will maintain a broad list of creative individual talent available on a per project basis including producers, copywriters, motion designers, art directors, etc. This role is responsible for sourcing talent for projects, negotiating specifics for the budget and manages a margin range including rates.

This position is a 3-month contract to start, with potential to extend or convert to Regular full-time employment.

As a Production Manager, You Will

  • Manage estimates, budgets and schedules as well as hands-on production as assigned by stakeholders for assigned products
  • Supervise scheduling crewing, and equipment rental for a variety of photo and video productions
  • Partner with our Recruiting team to find the best talent fit for both short- and long-term roles supporting our customers’ creative projects and needs
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for long-term contingent workforce programs, fostering trusted client partnerships while managing contract execution, renewals, and evolving staffing needs.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring onboarding details and first-day schedules are communicated to new hires in advance, and that all documentation, system access, and equipment logistics are completed accurately and on schedule. Coordinate timely offboarding activities, including equipment return
  • Work closely with clients and their protocols for process, troubleshooting and escalating when necessary
  • Be responsible for timecards, onboarding, classifications of hired resources
  • Serve as a day-to-day main client point of contact for several teams, providing guidance on short and long-term production and budgetary needs alongside senior leadership
  • Track and report on established KPIs
  • Facilitate communication upward and across internal and external teams- including project status, project schedules, justifications for variances, and budget
  • Manage all company personnel in provision of the services and deliverables, including without limitation training, onboarding (including working with HR to perform background checks for all company personnel), and supervision
  • Meet with internal clients and key stakeholders to understand specifications, content and delivery expectations and determine video and photography needs and best approach to meet client requirements
  • Lead the planning, design and direction of media projects for advanced video productions, live events and shoots
  • Organize company personnel assignments for Projects, set schedules and ensure the quality of the production
  • Coordinate activities of company personnel, including freelancers, vendors and associate media producers
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), Work Orders, and project amendments to support evolving client and project needs
  • Manage budgets and schedules and hands-on production as assigned by stakeholders for assigned Projects
  • Forecast and track actuals of project budgets
  • Track project deliverables, milestones, and timelines, ensuring commitments are met and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong client partnerships through proactive communication, ongoing engagement, and collaborative discussions that build trust and uncover new business opportunities
  • Prioritize client engagement through weekly meetings (in person) with clients, building and maintaining relationships
  • Reconcile budget against company services quotes to ensure accuracy
  • Work with partners, vendors and other outside resources necessary for the development of assigned projects
  • Facilitate communication upward and across project team- including project status, project schedules, justifications for variances, and technical information (architecture, design, specifications, and implementation objectives)
  • Ensure that project schedules are documented
  • Ensure that processes to support providing production services are maintainable and extendible to accommodate business needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancements to production workflows and tools, improving operational efficiency and quality of deliverables.

In this Role, You Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional working knowledge of production elements including video, audio, content management, project management
  • Experience working within creative, marketing, content production, or in-house agency environments
  • Experience working in client-facing environments where responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail are critical
  • Experience tracking project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience creating and managing Statements of Work (SOWs), Work Orders, contract amendments, and related project documentation
  • Experience developing and managing project budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Ability to balance long-term resource planning with fast-paced production and project delivery needs
  • Experience collaborating with recruiting, HR, legal, finance, and procurement teams to support project and staffing objectives
  • Ability to retain a positive attitude and find creative solutions to problems when they arise
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Ability to liaise across various departments with clear communication
  • Understanding and confidence to manage client, scope, schedule, budget and creative processes
  • Experience leading the planning, design and direction of media projects for video productions, live events and photo shoots
  • Experience managing onboarding processes for new hires and vendors, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure all documentation and administrative requirements are completed in a timely manner
  • Experience crewing for production managing set schedules, and managing many moving pieces to ensure that production goes smoothly
  • Proven success in meeting tight project turnarounds and deadlines
  • Exceptional creative abilities: looking to push the envelope and develop and implement fresh ideas
  • Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Compensation

Pay Range: $36.50 - $40.85 (hour)
