Possible Finance

Job description

Since our founding, we’ve delivered over $1 billion in funding to more than 1 million customers and saved them over $500 million. At Possible, we’re building a new kind of consumer finance company, one that helps people stay out of debt rather than profit from keeping them in it.

Team Introduction

At Possible, Product Marketing sits at the intersection of product, growth, and brand. The Product Marketing Team is responsible for Competitive Intelligence, Customer & Market Insights, Positioning & Messaging, Go-to-Market for Launches, Trust and Category Education, and Lifecycle and Retention Narratives.

The Role & Responsibilities

The Product Marketing Lead quarterbacks the above functions as we research, scope, and bring specific new products to market. This role also drives continuous product adoption and iteration post-launch through customer validation, ongoing competitive intelligence post-launch, and campaigns that drive demand, adoption, retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, this role also partners with our CMO, CPO and CEO on product strategy and positioning.

This is a high-execution, high-impact IC role, built for someone who is ownership-driven and operates with high autonomy as Possible transitions into a multi-product platform.

You’ll have a seat at the table when we decide which products we add, how individual products fit together, and help us think through how features get packaged into our membership tiers. The Product Marketing Lead’s role will also impact how we position possible overall.

You should be comfortable communicating clearly and efficiently to C-level executives, working across departments, and move nimbly as priorities shift and new information lands. High agency and low ego go far at Possible and they are especially critical for this role. You collaborate generously, stay humble and keep a good sense of humor.

What you’ll own:
  • Build and scale a competitive intelligence program that systematically monitors consumer trends, competitors, pricing, fees, features, App Store presence, and go-to-market activities.

  • Partner with company leadership and cross-functional teams to define product tiering, pricing, packaging, and market positioning for both existing and new offerings.

  • Influence company-wide product strategy, positioning and roadmap prioritization by bringing market, customer, and competitive insights into cross-functional decision‑making.

  • Define and drive positioning, messaging, and promotional strategy for both the Possible platform and individual products, membership tiers, and features based on customer insights and data.

  • Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new products and features, from customer insights, positioning, and messaging to launch planning and execution.

  • Partner with User Research to drive the right research objectives to make informed product decisions.

  • Use customer insights from User Research and quantitative performance data to continuously improve product adoption, retention, and ongoing messaging.

Minimum requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 6 years’ dedicated Product Marketing experience.

  • Proven track record of driving customer research, competitive intelligence and GTM, end to end (not just coordinating product launches).

  • B2C App and/or subscription‑business experience (fintech preferred; gaming, health and wellness, or ecommerce also considered).

  • Strong messaging and positioning craft. You have previously developed a compelling narrative from scratch, tested it with customers, and translated the results into in‑market assets to fuel the work of cross‑functional teams.

  • Deep experience with product adoption analysis, and the ability to turn qualitative and quantitative insight into strategy and engagement opportunities.

  • Comfortable with data, analytics and customer research tools like Sigma, Amplitude, Databricks, and Fullstory or similar.

  • Experience gathering and synthesizing audience insights from qualitative and quantitative research, either individually or by partnering closely with the User Research team.

  • A track record of partnering with PMs and engineering managers to translate technical terms into clear customer‑facing benefits and stories.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally to drive alignment and set goals across Product, Marketing, and Operations.

Nice to have:
  • B2C consumer fintech app experience, ideally in the lending/credit and/or EWA (earned wage access) industries.

  • Past experience as a strategy consultant, Product Manager, or Brand Manager - or comparable experience with high work quality bars.

  • Comfortable with data - able to read/adapt SQL queries.

  • Payments experience.

  • Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring junior team members.

Note: we don't require a specific degree. We care about demonstrated capability and outcomes.

What we offer

This is a Hybrid position. We work in our centrally located office in downtown Seattle three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).

The compensation range for this role is $188,000 to $210,000. We also offer significant stock options, full benefits, a bonus plan, commuter benefits, and a very desirable office with free drink and food options.
