About the Role
REHAU is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement and sourcing activities across the Americas region. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive cost optimization, supplier innovation, supply chain resilience, and operational excellence while supporting the company's long-term business objectives.
The Senior Procurement Manager will lead and develop a high-performing procurement team while partnering closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Legal, and Global Procurement to ensure sourcing decisions align with business priorities. Success in this role comes from building strong supplier partnerships, mitigating risk, improving processes, and creating long-term value for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Business Leadership
  • Develop and execute the regional procurement strategy aligned with REHAU's business objectives and global sourcing initiatives.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives that optimize total cost of ownership while ensuring quality, service, and supply continuity.
  • Identify opportunities for supplier innovation, cost reduction, operational efficiency, and value creation.
  • Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and supply risks to proactively support business continuity.
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial agreements with key suppliers.

Supplier Management
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships while managing supplier performance, risk, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that strengthen supplier diversity, sustainability, and long-term resilience.
  • Lead supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and executive-level business reviews.
  • Implement contingency plans that mitigate geopolitical, financial, operational, and risks.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the regional Procurement team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and support succession planning and talent development.
  • Encourage innovation and knowledge sharing across the procurement organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and Global Procurement to support strategic business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance to strengthen procurement controls, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through procurement technologies, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Present procurement strategies, business updates, and performance metrics to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related business or technical discipline preferred. Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Ten or more years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading regional procurement organizations and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong background in supplier negotiations, contract management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
  • Experience managing procurement within complex manufacturing or global supply chain environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within manufacturing, construction products, industrial products, plastics, polymers, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Experience with SAP or other enterprise ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with procurement analytics, business intelligence tools, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
  • Experience working within a global matrix organization.
