Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to support and enhance the CLM Power BI platform within a financial services environment. This role focuses on Power BI development, reporting solutions, data integration, process optimization, and cross-functional project support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and reporting solutions
  • Manage and support the CLM Power BI platform across multiple reporting domains
  • Translate complex business reporting requirements into technical specifications
  • Analyze and design reporting solutions aligned with business needs
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and data controls
  • Collaborate with CLM teams and stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables
  • Support full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, UAT, implementation, and post-go-live review
  • Manage project timelines, documentation, and deliverables using JIRA and Confluence
  • Maintain Power BI Service environment and reporting infrastructure
  • Manage version control and deployment pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps
  • Schedule and monitor batch jobs using Tidal
  • Develop and maintain Snowflake and database integration solutions
  • Perform data migration from source to target systems, including validation and reconciliation
  • Support audit requests and compliance-related inquiries
  • Present project status, milestones, and updates to senior leadership
  • Mentor and support junior team members

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience: 7+ years in IT compliance, business analysis, or related roles in financial services
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and integration solutions; required skills include SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Power BI, and reporting mockup design tools
  • CLM Knowledge: In-depth understanding of CLM practices and regulatory reporting standards
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical requirements and resolve complex compliance issues
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
