Overview Senior Pastor | Second Baptist Church Location: Clinton, TN | Attendance: 700–800 The Opportunity Situated on 26 beautiful acres along the Clinch River, Second Baptist Church (SBC) is a vibrant, debt-free congregation of 700+ seeking our next Senior Pastor. Following the planned retirement of our beloved pastor of 24 years, we are entering a season of healthy transition and Spirit-led expectation.

We are a mission-minded body – from local ministries to national and international partnerships – committed to "Worship, Grow, and Go." We are seeking a humble shepherd and gifted preacher who holds to the Baptist Faith and Message (2000), believes salvation is available to all, and is ready to lead a multigenerational church into the future. Snapshot of the Role Primary Preacher: Deliver expository, Gospel-centered messages. Shepherd: A relational leader who loves people and fosters unity in biblical truth. Visionary: Lead the staff and congregation in discipleship and outreach.

Requirements:

MDiv required (DMin preferred); 10+ years ministry experience (3 years as Senior Pastor).
