Position Summary

Moove is seeking a Network and Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, deployment, and operational expansion of network and low-voltage infrastructure across multiple active sites and markets.

This role is responsible for assisting with the implementation, coordination, and support of enterprise network infrastructure including structured cabling systems (SCS), wireless networks, LAN/WAN connectivity, CCTV, telecommunications, access control, and related low-voltage systems.

The ideal candidate combines technical infrastructure knowledge with strong field execution, vendor coordination, and project delivery capabilities. This position works closely with construction teams, carriers, network vendors, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure sites are deployed consistently, efficiently, and according to Moove standards. In addition, this individual will oversee network performance across the site portfolio, working with vendors to ensure high uptime and performance.

This is a hands-on role that includes both field and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced, rapidly growing operational environment.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage the deployment, installation, and maintenance of network and low-voltage infrastructure across multiple sites and markets.

  • Support wireless, structured cabling, telecommunications, CCTV, and network infrastructure projects from planning through operational turnover.

  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and infrastructure standardization.

  • Participate in MDF/IDF buildouts, rack elevations, patch panel layouts, cable management, and infrastructure validation.

  • Assist with wireless infrastructure deployments including access point placement, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization.

  • Review construction progress and low-voltage installations for quality, standards compliance, and operational readiness.

  • Support site surveys, infrastructure assessments, and field troubleshooting activities.

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of network infrastructure standards, documentation, procedures, and deployment guidelines.

  • Prepare project documentation including infrastructure drawings, cable schedules, equipment inventories, and turnover documentation.

  • Support procurement activities including bill-of-material creation, vendor coordination, and equipment tracking.

  • Assist with cost estimation, budgeting, and value-engineering recommendations for infrastructure projects.

  • Communicate with vendors and manufacturers regarding hardware compatibility, deployment support, maintenance issues, and escalation management.

  • Support multiple simultaneous deployments while maintaining project timelines and operational priorities.

  • Oversee monthly vendor business reviews to assess network performance, adherence to SLAs, scheduling of maintenance

  • Act as point of escalation for Moove’s operational team for network performance degradation to ensure high quality service across locations

  • Participate in after-hours maintenance windows or urgent operational support activities when required.

  • Perform additional technical and operational duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals including wired and wireless infrastructure.

  • Experience with structured cabling systems (SCS), low-voltage infrastructure, and telecommunications environments.

  • Familiarity with wireless infrastructure deployments and troubleshooting in operational environments.

  • Understanding of LAN/WAN networking, switching, wireless technologies, and low-voltage systems including CCTV and VoIP.

  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, low-voltage plans, rack elevations, and infrastructure documentation.

  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards including BICSI, ANSI/TIA, NEC, IEEE, and EIA/TIA standards.

  • Familiarity with construction coordination and low-voltage divisions including Divisions 25, 26, and 27.

  • Experience coordinating with vendors, carriers, contractors, and external engineering teams, including managing service levels and vendor performance.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities, including ability to build replicable tooling and processes to solve administrative bottlenecks

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments with aggressive deployment timelines and evolving operational requirements.

  • Ability to work independently in field environments while maintaining strong communication with leadership and project stakeholders.


Working Environment
  • Combination of office, field, and active construction site environments.

  • Frequent travel (up to 50%) to operational and construction sites may be required.

  • Work may involve walking active facilities, climbing ladders, working in telecom spaces, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds.

  • Role may require flexible scheduling, shifting priorities, and occasional after-hours support during deployments or maintenance activities.

  • Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Five (5) years of experience supporting network infrastructure, low-voltage systems, structured cabling, telecommunications, or related technical infrastructure environments.

  • Experience supporting infrastructure deployments, construction coordination, or multi-site technical projects.

  • Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, wireless networking, and enterprise infrastructure environments.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in large multi-site enterprise or operational environments.

  • Experience supporting wireless deployments in warehouse, industrial, transportation, logistics, automotive, healthcare, higher education, or large operational facilities.

  • Familiarity with enterprise wireless platforms, switching infrastructure, and carrier coordination.

  • Professional certifications such as:

    • BICSI RCDD

    • BICSI RTPM

    • BICSI OSP

    • PMP / CAPM

    • CWNA

    • CCNA

    • Vendor-specific networking certifications

  • Experience working in fast-growing operational or startup environments preferred.
