ATEC HQ IT Project Manager POSITION: Project Manager LOCATION: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD SCOPE: Serves as a Technical Project Manager/Team Lead providing leadership and supervisory oversight of team of IT professionals for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Headquarters. This is an onsite position with potential for hybrid telework RESPONSIBILITIES: · Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking components resulting from the research, discovery and evaluation of organizational technical debt · Identify, evaluate and recommend solutions that offer long-term scalability with short-term gains · Collaborate with technical leaders, Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to ensure that IT needs are met and that technological solutions align with business goals. · Ensure recommendations/solutions are submitted through the Configuration Control process · Offer troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance to team members.

· Communicate effectively between the IT team and other departments to align technology solutions with business needs. · As required, plan and execute disaster recovery to minimize downtime and data loss. · Explore and implement technologies that enhance operational efficiency or offer competitive advantages.

· Oversee the implementation of project tasks and milestones · Generate status reports, plans and whitepapers for senior IT leaders and the contract Program Manager QUALIFICATIONS: · 13 years combined. relevant experience in IT disciplines (e.g. Systems/Network Engineering, Software Development and Cybersecurity or equivalent combination of education and experience · 5 years of experience leading 20 or more employees · Security+ (or equivalent DOD 8570.1 IAT II certification) and (1) Computing Environment certification in relevant field · (1) certification in the project management field (e.g., CompTIA Project+ or PMI certification, etc.) SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret, with ability to obtain Top Secret if required.
