Job description

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and client-focused Senior Event Planner to lead the planning and execution of events from concept through completion. This role will take ownership of event planning, client relationships, logistics, and event execution while working closely with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.


The ideal candidate is confident, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple events and priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and coordination of events from initial concept through completion.
  • Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout the planning process.
  • Meet with clients to understand their vision, requirements, budget, and expectations.
  • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, suppliers, entertainment, catering, décor, transportation, and other event requirements.
  • Negotiate with vendors and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and value.
  • Oversee event logistics, set-up, execution, and tear-down.
  • Be present at events and provide hands-on leadership to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Manage event staff and provide direction before and during events.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally while making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all event details and client expectations are communicated.
  • Monitor event budgets, expenses, invoices, and other financial details.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct post-event follow-up with clients and vendors to evaluate the event and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with developing new event concepts, packages, and service offerings.
  • Support business development through strong client relationships and exceptional service.
