Senior Electrical Project ManagerPosition Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects valued at $50 million or greater, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle including estimating, planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and project closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical construction projects from initial planning and design through completion and turnover to the client.
  • Lead project teams including project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee contract administration, change order management, procurement, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including cost controls, billing, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide executive-level reporting on project status.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Support business development efforts and participate in project pursuits as needed.
  • Mentor and develop junior project management staff.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of electrical construction project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing electrical construction projects from start to finish with a total project value of $50 million or greater.
  • Experience managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, mission-critical, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, scheduling, estimating, and contract management.
  • Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Design-Build and Design-Assist project delivery methods.
  • Knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and construction technology platforms.
