Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing large-scale commercial projects during the design phase for the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Construction Management Department, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and budget. Responsibilities include securing resources and coordinating the efforts of internal team members and external architects, engineers, and consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Senior Design Project Manager defines the project objectives, oversees quality control, and ensures compliance with established standards. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or similarly related field is required. Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in design management, including strategic initiatives such as site design development, procurement, bidding and negotiation processes, contract specification, negotiation and execution is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
