Job Description

We are looking for another incredible Senior Controls Engineer to join our team. The Senior Controls Engineer primary role will be to manage and facilitate the completion of multiple projects. Responsibilities for this job includes an understanding of regular engineering processes, documenting work performed, working with program design and testing, and troubleshooting. An understanding of control logic and control processes is necessary, as is accuracy and attention to detail. Depending on project size, you may be required to manage a small team. Our most successful individuals are capable of problem solving with a broad understandings of all aspects working in harmony together. Interpersonal and communication skills are also valuable in a technical environment.

Custom Control is a well-established, 45 year old, fast-growing, family-owned private company located in Overland Park, KS. We develop and integrate control systems for industry. For example, we manufacture controls for solar power generation and storage, food processing, airport fueling, and many others.

A day in the life of a Senior Controls Engineer

Our senior control engineers usually work both individually and as a team. Our beautiful facility houses both engineering and operations and is open five days a week.
