  • Establish, strengthen, and maintain strategic alliances with local, national and international organizations that support institutional development.
  • Coordinate and prepare grant proposals, letters of intent, and other required documentation for funding requests.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors to ensure long‑term engagement and stewardship.
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns (e.g., events, digital initiatives, annual giving) to diversify revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with Communications/Marketing to create compelling donor materials, case statements, and impact storytelling.
  • Ensure compliance with grant reporting requirements by preparing and submitting timely, accurate reports to funders.
  • Monitor trends in philanthropy, government programs, and innovative funding mechanisms.
  • Support institutional strategic planning to align development efforts with the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Serve as liaison between potential external stakeholders and Programs directors to maximize fundraising initiatives.
  • Produce periodic reports on progress, secured funds, established partnerships, and impact metrics.
  • Representing the organization at forums, conferences, and events to promote visibility and networking opportunities.

Since our organization is going to change to meet the needs of new designations, you can expect, anticipate, and assume that your job description will change to meet these challenges.
