Duties The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as the Maintenance Superintendent. Air Reserve Technician(ART). in either the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (MS). Rescue Squadron (RQS). or Rescue Group (RQG). In this capacity. incumbent serves as the senior technical supervisor over subordinate supervisors and workers engaged in the total aircraft maintenance functions. * Performs work planning responsibilities. Plans on a quarterly or longer basis the overall use of personnel and other resources in two or more separate organizational segments or groups controlled through one ur more levels of supervision. * Performs work direction responsibilities. Assigns and explains work requirements and operating instructions to subordinate supervisors and sets deadlines and establishes the sequence of work operations to be followed. * Performs administrative responsibilities.
