Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MS SQL Server Database Administrator to lead the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing management of enterprise SQL Server database environments. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational support. The DBA will apply technical knowledge and disciplined problem-solving approaches to support business-critical systems while ensuring availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation, planning, coordination, and installation of SQL Server Database Management Systems
  • Configure, maintain, and manage SQL Server environments to ensure high availability and performance
  • Perform SQL Server performance tuning and optimization (PTO)
  • Manage database backups, restores, and recovery models
  • Implement and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Always On Availability Groups
  • Manage and support SQL Server Replication features
  • Administer database security including user permissions and access control
  • Support SQL Server running on Windows Server environments, including Active Directory integration
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide 24x7 support when required
  • Work collaboratively with infrastructure, application, and support teams
