Job description

Our client seeks a SQL Developer to support the creation of educational grants and Analytical Reports in the NexSys System.  NexSys contains over 100 educational grant applications that are rolled over yearly with minor to major changes each year.

Tasks:

·        Applications are configured primarily with a click not code interface using SQL for custom error checks and calculations.

·        Analytical Reports are SQL based

·        Provide end users with data insights for each grant.  

<>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·        Strong SQL expertise and attention to detail are a strong must for this position

·        Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.

NOTE: Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule). Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.

Location: Lansing, MI  

Contract: 1 year

Skills Required:

3 years of experience in the following:

·        Experience developing Systems with Microsoft SQL Server database

·        Experience writing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views

·        Experience working in a team environment

·        Experience with the Microsoft .NET programming language.  (C#.NET and/or VB.NET)

·        Bachelor’s Degree (Please include on resume)

Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·        2 years - Experience with Federal, State or local grant management systems

·        1 year - Experience with Playwright
