Job description

We are looking for an experiencedSenior .NET SQL Developer / Support Engineerwho will play a key role in maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancing enterprise applications. This position requires strong expertise in .NET, SQL, and production support, including handling critical issues during off-hours.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in developing Web and Windows-based applications.
  • Strong requirement analysis skills with experience preparing functional & technical documentation.
  • Experience creating SQL deployment scripts and packages for releases.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • C#.NET, MVC, REST/Web API
  • SSRS and Report Builder
  • Experience in unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and L2/L3 production support.
  • Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and provide on-call support during evenings/weekends/off-hours.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (sprints, backlog grooming, daily scrums, retrospectives).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Web and Windows applications based on requirements and design specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain requirement, functional, technical, and end-user documentation.
  • Design and maintain database objects and SQL scripts; handle change requests for releases.
  • Perform unit and integration testing and resolve defects.
  • Manage coding, code reviews, and maintenance tasks ensuring timely delivery.
  • Actively participate in UAT/QA/Production releases and provide L2/L3 production support.
  • Support Agile Scrum activities including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Work on minor enhancements and critical issue resolutions, including handling outages.
