Overview
The Social Media Specialist II is a skilled marketing professional responsible for executing social media strategies for AIT Worldwide Logistics. This role focuses on creating optimized content for organic and paid channels, monitoring and engaging with online communities, and managing scheduling and reporting through tools like Sprout Social. The position requires strong writing skills, attention to brand standards, and the ability to leverage social listening and analytics to drive engagement and growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures social media is integrated into broader marketing initiatives, supporting brand visibility and ROI.
Responsibilities
  • Content creation: Create copy to be shared across brand channels (organic, paid, intranet and Google) that is optimized by platform (e.g. length, hashtags, audience) and reflects our larger social media strategy.
  • Community management: Monitor inbound engagement across social platforms and respond promptly to comments and mentions. Track sentiment and escalate issues to maintain brand responsiveness. Manage paid community commentary with care and intentionality, addressing negative sentiment effectively. Identify trending conversations and opportunities for AIT to join the dialogue.
  • Content management: Manage social media scheduling across platforms using Sprout Social. Tag messages accurately for reporting by vertical, audience and/or other key segments. Includes publishing content to Intranet (SharePoint) and Google through additional tools.
  • Reporting: Use report templates and additional data insights such as social listening to optimize content and identify growth opportunities on a routine basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • The wage range for this position is $65,180.00-$97,760.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (required)
Experience
• 3+ years Corporate social media engagement, reporting, and/or Corporate content creation (required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Sprout Social, including Premium Analytics and Social Listening capabilities
• General computer skills (Microsoft One)
• Proficiency in SharePoint
• Sprout Social certification(s). Relevant certifications through Sprout include: Publishing certification, Listening certification, Reporting certification, Social customer care for team members, Premium analytics certification, AI & automation capabilities certification (preferred)
• LinkedIn Advertising Fundamentals certification (preferred)
• A working knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and other social platforms paired with the ability to impact them through organic and paid efforts
• Attention to brand details, strong knowledge of AP style
• Foundational knowledge of LinkedIn Ads
