Essential Duties for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter:

  • Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and their properties, including but not limited to plastics, iron, malleable steel, copper, brass, chromium, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Possess knowledge of pipe fabrication practices and procedures, including electric, arc, and acetylene welding, brazing, and soldering.
  • Familiarity with threading, glued, bolted, and compression-type fittings.

Requirements for Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitter:

  • 6+ years of fire/sprinkler experience.
  • 2+ years of Foreman experience is preferred.
  • Ability to relay instructions and directions to workers.
  • Highly organized, systematic, and adherent to construction deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
