Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Motion and Health Rehabilitation Center in Helmetta, New Jersey. This role provides the unique opportunity to focus on delivering exceptional patient care without the pressure of productivity quotas. With a stable work schedule from Monday to Friday, you will be empowered to engage fully with your patients and ensure they receive the highest standard of rehabilitation services.

Work Environment

Located in the heart of Helmetta, our onsite rehabilitation facility is designed to foster patient comfort and therapeutic success. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to support various treatment modalities. As a full-time therapist, you will work within a collaborative team environment, engaging with MDs, OTs, DCs, NPs, and PAs who share a common goal: optimizing patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to develop customized treatment plans that align with individual needs and goals.
  • Implement hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercise programs aimed at rehabilitating patients with orthopedic conditions.
  • Utilize educational techniques to empower patients in understanding their conditions, treatment processes, and strategies for long-term health maintenance.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records utilizing CureMD electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assess patient progress over time and adjust treatment strategies in response to their evolving needs and recovery targets.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily treat adult patients aged 40 to 65 who are facing a variety of orthopedic challenges, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and recovery from injuries. Your empathetic approach and ability to engage patients effectively will be vital in fostering their recovery journey.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy with a valid physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and connect with patients effectively, ensuring they feel supported and acknowledged throughout their rehabilitation process.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship and support for career development will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
