What You'll Do
  • Assist residents with daily activities - bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care
  • Build genuine connections with residents and treat every interaction with warmth and respect
  • Keep accurate care records and follow each resident's individualized service plan
  • Communicate daily with the Resident Services team to keep care consistent and coordinated
  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, coworkers, and visitors
  • Support activities and day-to-day operations within the neighborhood

What You'll Need
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of related healthcare experience
  • Ability to complete required dementia training (for Ensemble/Memory Care programs)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Nice to Have
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • CNA or NA license/certification in good standing (as required by Virginia state law)
  • Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
