A spotter driver is responsible for guiding large, industrial trucks or trailers in and out of the shipping yard, and to and from loading doors. As a spotter driver, your duties are to operate the spotter truck and move these loads to the correct location, especially when the original driver would have an obstructed view. The spotter truck is a lighter vehicle with better maneuverability. While this makes its operation slightly easier, a spotter driver should still have excellent driving skills, and a keen sense of their surroundings at all times.
