Rail Driver  
As a Rail Driver you are responsible for supporting special projects and core business operations. You will be driving and operating semi-vans, roll-off trailers and dump trailers locally and traveling overnight for special projects. Pay incentives are included for travel.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
  • Drives and operates semi-vans, roll-off trailers and dump trailers as needed
  • Reports to Company Transport designated dispatchers and is provided with daily instructions to move trailers consisting of customers materials, either to a disposal site or client yard / facility
  • Prepares for daily trip (prior to driving transportation equipment) by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order
  • Completes manifests or bill of lading documents, company issued forms, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed
  • Inspects all drums / containers on loads to ensure they have the proper labels and markings
  • Maintains logbook for DOT compliance and State and Federal regulations
  • Drives to the customer site to collect waste material and / or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal
  • Acts as Company representative with courtesy towards each customer
  • Loads drums or freight and completes lining roll-off boxes and dump trailers
  • Maintains the ability to travel overnight and on-call rotation as needed
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)
  • Tanker / Hazmat endorsements (required)
  • 3+ years of CDL driving experience (preferred)
