Job Summary/Description:

WALB News 10 in Albany, GA has a rare opening for a Sports Anchor/Reporter to join our amazing sports team in South Georgia. This position is NOT a local version of SportsCenter. We believe local sports news is community news, so we cover LOCAL teams and LOCAL athletes on all platforms. This is a great opportunity for a high-energy storyteller to work under a General Manager, News Director, and Sports Director who appreciate the value of local sports coverage.

Develop relationships with local college and high school teams, coaches, and players. Be able to tell human stories that go 'outside the lines' of competition. Must be a self-starter who values and accepts constructive feedback.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* College degree in broadcasting or equivalent.
* Basic experience in content delivery on all platforms, including web, social media, and television.
