Varsity Sports Statistician
Position Description
BSU's Athletics Department provides inclusive intercollegiate athletics and recreational programs that contribute to the recruitment, retention, and graduation of a diverse student body. We develop leaders, encourage community engagement, and strengthen the overall social fabric of the university.
The Varsity Sports Statistician will be responsible for inputting every statistical occurrence at various varsity games using the NCAA required stat program (Presto Stats, Stat Crew, etc).
Eligibility requirements:
  • Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.

Preferred Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Specific knowledge of Presto Stats/Stat Crew game entry codes and procedures
  • Knowledge of sport specific rules
  • Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately under extreme time pressure

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in sports stat keeping
  • Knowledge of the rules of multiple sport
  • Punctuality and attention to detail are critical components of employment

Physical Demands
May have to carry a small portable printer to various events.
