Summary:
The Creative Director drives the design and creative executions for the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium and Miami Open, the F1 Miami Grand Prix, and the co-branded campaigns with our official Partners. This role has to be able to take on complex goals and solve them using creative solutions with design, brand storytelling, social content, advertising, co-branded activations, artist curation, merchandising collections and innovative technology (deep curiosity on how AI can positively impact the scale and creative process and craft). The ideal candidate has solid Design background, is innovative and inspiring, consistent in establishing guidelines. It requires a creative mind with business acumen, fueling the fans passion for our events, while supporting the company growth promoting our products and strengthening the relationship with our main sponsors. Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
  • Build, lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated Design Team with passion and positivity.
  • Elevate the creative excellence of all brands and develop their craft and execution to a level where it becomes globally recognizable and a benchmark in the industry.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to lead the creative direction of all campaigns, ensuring a consistent brand across all channels, while surprising and getting fans engaged. A highly collaborative leader that effectively works cross-functionally and is able to gain buy-in from key stakeholders through creative direction, goal alignment and storytelling.
  • Able to give and receive feedback and constantly iterate, to ensure all creative delivers on the expectations of the creative brief, internal clients and partners.
  • Active and thoughtful contributor to the marketing leadership team.
  • Dedicated to continuous learning and staying up to date on industry, technology and cultural trends, incorporating it into your craft.
  • Proven expertise on managing teams that can design digital experiences across websites, mobile apps, embracing the most advanced UX and UI guidelines.
  • Expertise on building successful advertising campaigns on digital media, e-mail marketing, and social media platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Communications or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum eight to ten (10) years of experience in brand creative direction, preferred with a mix of sports brands, agency and in-house experience. Minimum three (3+) years of experience in a creative leadership role.
  • Relevant experience in sports, entertainment and/or lifestyle brands is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in concepting and executing brand identity, brand campaigns and product campaigns.
  • Strong, respectful leadership and managerial skills with an executive presence.
  • Successfully works in a fast-paced environment, where innovation and rapid iteration are essential, and priorities shift frequently.
  • Strategic decision maker that uses marketing and creative briefs, data insights and business priorities to drive projects accordingly.
  • Proven ability to recognize and nurture talent.
  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
